FIBR

BROWSER FOR FILES FROM SD2IEC OR REAL DISK DRIVES

FIBR is a file browser for the C64 and displays directories of original Commodore floppies, SD2IEC (MMC2IEC) and MMC64. FIBR can also display the directories (eg hard disk images) of the emulators VICE and Power64 (also case-sensitive). Our goal is to support most popular card readers and hard disk interfaces in the future. The browser is completely programmed in assembler and extremely fast and compatible. It supports long filenames, directories and D64 images. FIBR has a specially designed interface with a modified character set and (in a later version) selectable color theme. The design is very clear and functional, the font well legible. The letters are smaller than normal C64 characters for better line spacing. You can switch between different views (1 window or 2 windows horizontally or vertically) and jump between the windows via the control key. There is a proportional scrollbar and too long names are trimmed clean.

1581 Disk Doctor imported on January 18th, 1990 by Fantasy. This is a modified version of the original 1581 Disk Doctor written by Kevin Pickell. Wanderer of Fantasy added a multi-drive selector to the program. It works also with 1541 disk drives.

CIADIAG

The application is of course very simple. It can recognize if it is running on C64 or under the VICE emulator. It also recognizes between CIA types 6526 and 6526A for each installed chip in Commodore. It is recommended that no device be connected to the CONTROL and USER ports when running the CIAdiag, as its nature, damage or construction defect may trigger an error message. The program returns the decimal value read from the port when it does not agree with the set. The app also tests the TOD clocks of the CIA circuits and gives them their operating frequency.

D64it is a simple program for the c64 to convert from .D64 files (emulator disk images) to a 1541 disk or vice-versa. It's
slow but it works! Of course to use it you need a device on the c64 that can hold a ~170k D64 file (eg 1581, Ramdisk / REU, CMD hard drive etc).

Discan v1.0

This program checks an entire disk for a series of bytes, and allows you to change those bytes if found. This allows you to create game cheats, remove copy protection and to do virus scans. What makes this program useful is that it allows you to modify data in games that don't contain files. With files, it's easy to modify code and create trainer menus. When the data is hidden on sectors though, it's not as simple a process because you need to modify and then re-save the data back to disk.

Exos 14x Turbo Loader is a small 10 block program that makes loading large programs a LOT faster!

 A couple of notes; When doing a directory load, the program will automatically do a list when its finished loading the directory. While loading a program it will blank the screen to squeeze out a little more performance.
